At the Faculty of Economics, students participate in various extracurricular activities. In this way, they develop specific skills, acquire new knowledge and nurture a sense of belonging to the institution. We traditionally enrol talented students and promote the practice of rewarding the best students.

Organizations are responsible for the organization of student life at the Faculty of Economics, such as the Association of Students of the Faculty of Economics, the Student Council of the Faculty of Economics and the Sports and Recreational Society of Economics and Management Students EKOMEN.

■■ The Student Union of the Faculty of Economics (SSEF) and the Student Council of the Faculty of Economics (VEF) organized numerous events during the previous year. They organized two workshops – a media literacy workshop called “INVESTIGATE-INCLUDE” and a workshop on the importance of preserving the mental health of young people and the Motivational weekend, then the two-day ERSTE OPEN DAY conference, the traditional Student Economic Forum and the Bank’s Business Conference, as well as the Student Week event.

■■ During the previous year Sports and recreational society Ekomen organized numerous events. Within the traditional series of sports tribunes called “The best to the best”, they hosted: Duško Vujošević, Jovanka Radičević, Danijela Furtula, Predrag Radošević, Mirko Vučinić, Miodrag Radulović, Marija Vuković, Dušan Milošević and Goran Đukanović. In addition, the Ekomen Academy was organized, during which lectures by representatives of successful companies operating in Montenegro were held, as well as sports competitions – the Ekomen League in table tennis and futsal, the Fifth and Sixth Podgorica ten, a 10 km recreational race. In the Student Volleyball League, in the final match, the team from the Faculty of Economics defeated the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

■■ The Society for Entrepreneurship, Management and Business of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro (EMBA MONTENEGRO) is a new student organization at the Faculty of Economics founded in 2023.
