UN Jubilee Marked with Students at the Faculty of Economics – Guest Appearance by Caroline Tissot, UN Resident Coordinator in Montenegro

Today at the Faculty of Economics, Ms. Caroline Tissot, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Montenegro, held a lecture and discussion with students on the occasion of marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. She introduced the students to the importance of this jubilee, the current role of the UN and the need for its ongoing reforms, as well as the UN’s activities in Montenegro.

The students' main interests focused on the importance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the challenges of conflicting development objectives, the economic outlook of the country, and young people’s attitudes toward where to build their careers.
