A career in the banking sector is one of the most common choices for students of the Faculty of Economics. That is why, as part of the traditional Freshers Days, a lecture was organized by the member of the Board of Directors of NLB banka ad Podgorica, Dražen Vujošević, who in an inspiring way shared with the students the story of how he built a career in the banking sector, but also about how students of the Faculty of Economics can prepare during their studies. for work in that area.

During the lecture How to build a career in the banking sector? Vujošević discussed with the freshmen about the principles of building a career, about banking on the example of NLB banka ad Podgorica, as well as about employment opportunities in one of the most successful Montenegrin banks.

In addition, he recalled the long-term successful cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and NLB Bank in numerous projects to support students in acquiring practical skills and rewarding the best among them.

After the lecture, this partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement was signed by the dean of the Faculty of Economics, prof. Dr. Mijat Jocović and members of the Board of Directors of NLB banka ad Podgorica, Dražen Vujošević and Lana Đurasović, and on that occasion pointed out that the signed Memorandum envisages cooperation between these two institutions in the implementation of activities and projects of common interest, student scholarships, support in sponsoring events, organizing joint conferences , panels, round tables, workshops, tribunes and professional practices for students.

"I want to express my satisfaction that today the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro signs an agreement with NLB Bank, and that with this agreement, it raises a quality cooperation that has existed for many years to a higher level. We have been cooperating with NLB Bank through various projects for many years. through the exchange of students, through the employment of our students in that bank. Now we are trying to make this cooperation sustainable in the long term. It seems to me that in the previous period, this faculty was a place where NLB Bank found a large number of quality personnel for our needs, and on the other hand, through cooperation with NLB Bank, we want to modernize our study programs and that the offer of the Faculty of Economics and the final product ends up among the best employers in Montenegro, which, without a doubt, is NLB Bank, pointed out the dean prof. Dr. Mijat Jocović.

"We at NLB Bank are also pleased that today we signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Faculty of Economics, which represents one of the most respected educational institutions in Montenegro. On the other hand, NLB Bank is a system bank in Montenegro, which represents one of the carriers of the financial system so our cooperation is completely natural. We have had a very successful cooperation with the Faculty of Economics, and now after signing this memorandum, we will intensify and raise this cooperation to an even greater level. The cooperation will be reflected in several areas such as student scholarships, organizing joint forums, round tables and events and, of course, the exchange of personnel capacities on projects," said Dražen Vujošević, a member of the Board of Directors of NLB Bank.
