As part of Freshers' Day, a traditional series of events to welcome our freshmen at the beginning of each academic year, a lecture dedicated to the improvement of soft skills was held.
Our students had the opportunity to listen to an inspiring lecture by Jelena Marković, psychologist and communication expert, who imparted her knowledge and shared advice on how to improve presentation and public speaking skills. She especially devoted herself to practical exercises that will be useful to students during their studies, but also in their future careers.
"With this lecture, another Soft Skills Academy at the Faculty of Economics began, within which we will organize numerous activities with the aim of encouraging students to improve their soft skills, which will provide them with a significant competitive advantage on the labor market," said the Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Associate Professor Tamara Backović, Ph.D. . The Academy of Soft Skills is supported by the Erasmus+ Me Study in English project, which has been implemented at the Faculty of Economics since this year as the first coordinating project.
Jelena Marković's lecture was organized in cooperation with the Coca-Cola youth support initiative & the EYCA knowledge caravan.
