We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Mijat Jocović, Full Professor, will continue to lead the Faculty of Economics from 2025 to 2028!

In the previous term, significant results were achieved in various areas:

 Improvement of the teaching process through regular analyses and student surveys, as well as launching the MONTEB program in English, which offers students international education and enhances the faculty's recognition.

 Introduction of mandatory professional practice as a course allowed students to gain real-world work experience during their studies.

 Excellence Incentive: Approximately €100,000 was invested in scholarships, awards, and further training for teaching staff. These investments confirm our commitment to high-quality education and Support for talented students and collaborators.

 Strengthening international cooperation:

 A partnership was established with Boston College, one of the most prestigious universities in economics and management. The faculty became the coordinator for two Erasmus+ projects and a partner in two Horizon projects, opening up new opportunities for students and professors.

 Development of research work:

 The MICEB international conference was launched, gathering prominent experts and researchers, and the translation of the book "The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies, and the Fate of Liberty" by Nobel laureates Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson was published.

 Support for students and cooperation with the industry:

 The Alumni Club was launched, and an annual gathering was established as part of the Alumni and Friends event, further strengthening the connection between former and current students and their link to the industry.

 More than 100 guest lectures and professional workshops were organized, allowing students to get acquainted with the latest trends in economics and management.

 Over 150 students gained employment through professional practice, thanks to the faculty's collaboration with leading companies and institutions.

 Our strategic goal for the next mandate period is to obtain the prestigious international AACSB accreditation, which will further elevate our institution and position it on the global academic stage.
