HSBA students and professors from Hamburg visited the Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro hosted students and professors from the Hamburg University of Business (HSBA) as part of their study tour. After getting acquainted with the rich history of the faculty and the directions of its future development, the students and professors from Hamburg were greeted by the vice-dean for international cooperation and coordinator of the Erasmus + project "ME Study in English", Assoc. Dr. Tamara Backović, who expressed her satisfaction with this visit.

"This visit represents a significant step in strengthening our international relations and cooperation in the field of education. Cooperation with HSBA, an institution known for its innovative approach to education and dual study programs, opens up new opportunities for our students. I am convinced that the discussions and exchange of experiences during this event contributed to the understanding of current economic challenges and opportunities, especially in the context of integration into the European Union. Such meetings not only enrich our academic horizons, but also strengthen friendship and cooperation between our institutions. I look forward to future opportunities for joint projects and initiatives that will further enhance our ties. I believe that this cooperation will bring mutual benefit and contribute to the development of our students as future carriers of the progress of our countries," said Vice-Dean Backović.

During the visit, which was carried out as part of the activities of the Erasmus + project, Assoc. Dr. Milica Muhadinović gave a lecture on "Economies on the Road to the EU - Opportunities and Challenges". This topic particularly interested the students, providing them with an insight into the perspectives of a country that is in the process of joining the European Union. The lecture was held in the new Millennium hall, where students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and actively participate in the discussion on current economic issues.

After the lecture, socializing continued in the Club of Students, Alumni and Professors, where the students of the Faculty of Economics got to know the guests from Germany. The host of this meeting, Zerina Kardović, president of the Student Union of the Faculty of Economics, emphasized the importance of such events for the exchange of experiences and the creation of new academic and professional connections.
