Ivan Bošković, CEO of ITAS company, held a guest lecture for students of MONTEB, as a part of the Business Informatics course. The topic of the lecture was "Emerging Trends in Software Development: From Traditional to AI-Driven Processes" and it was held on Thursday, April 18.

During the class, guest lecturer bridged the past, present, and future of software development processes and methodologies, offering students a comprehensive understanding of how this discipline has transformed and where it's headed in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). After going through the basics, Mr Bošković explained the different methodologies that can be applied in this process, from Waterfall to Agile, Rapid Application Development (RAD) and DevOps. In the second part of the lecture, an emphasis on AI was put, as a truly revolutionary force in software development. The lecture was concluded by looking into the future, so that students can be aware and ready for the challenges they might meet in their future careers as business leaders.

The guest lecture ended with a Q&A session, where Mr Bošković shared his great experience and real-life examples, that helped students further their understanding of the process.
